Alhamdulillah, BASAT successfully concluded the “Breakfast with Newcomers in Istanbul – 2025.”
The program began with a traditional Turkish breakfast. As the event progressed, meeting new faces and hearing where everyone came from and what they are doing in Türkiye created a warm and friendly atmosphere. For many of the newcomers, this was their first event in Istanbul, and it was wonderful to see everyone gradually opening up and connecting. We then officially welcomed the newcomers with flowers and small gifts.
We are thankful to our respected speakers and guests: Md. Walid Bin Siraj (BASAT Advisor), Shah Md. Jalaluddin (BASAT Advisor), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahadi Miraz (Atlas University), Dr. Salah Uddin, and Dr. Sakib Intisar (Assistant Professors of Neurology, Dhaka Medical College). We wholeheartedly appreciate the thoughtful words shared by Omar Faruk Helali (President, BASAT) and Syed Magfur Ahmad (Vice President, BASAT). We are also sincerely grateful for the kind regards conveyed by the Consul General of the Bangladesh Consulate in Istanbul, the President of the YTB Istanbul Office, and the representatives of Bab-e-Alam and TISUP.
The participants enjoyed a fun and creative, out-of-the-box Kahoot quiz and savored a traditional Bangladeshi lunch even more. Thank you to everyone who joined and helped make the program smooth, engaging, and welcoming.
To all our newcomers—welcome. We wish you every success in Türkiye. As the Turks say, “Türkiye’ye hoş geldiniz!”
