The Bangladeshi Students’ & Professionals’ Association in Türkiye (BASAT) recently held an Executive and Secretariat Meeting, where members gathered to review previous activities and discuss plans for upcoming programs.
The meeting was conducted by BASAT General Secretary Nasruzzaman Naeem, while BASAT President Omar Faruk Helali addressed the members, shared the organization’s upcoming plans, and welcomed opinions and suggestions from all participants.
During the meeting, members reflected on recently organized initiatives, including the Newcomers Welcome program. The discussion later focused on several upcoming events, including the BASAT Grand Iftar and the Eid Reunion.
Members also discussed future initiatives in different areas, including educational activities, sports programs such as cricket and football tournaments, and expanding BASAT’s programs to cities beyond Istanbul in order to better engage Bangladeshis living in other parts of Türkiye.
The meeting also created an open space for members to share their views and recommendations, contributing to the planning of BASAT’s future activities.
