The Graduation and Reunion Program, organized by TUMED – International Alumni Association (Türkiye Alumni) in collaboration with YTB, UDEF, and Bab-i Alam, was successfully held in Istanbul with the active participation of BASAT. The event brought together Türkiye alumni and international students in a bright, vibrant, and joyful reunion. The Türkiye Alumni Day proved to be a rich and memorable event, featuring inspirational experience sharing, valuable international networking opportunities, new prospects for career development, and engaging sector-specific sessions.
Members of the Bangladeshi Students’ & Professionals’ Association in Türkiye (BASAT) and other Bangladeshi students actively participated in the festivities, proudly representing their country and showcasing their rich culture by serving traditional food to the guests.
Most notably, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to education, research, and innovation, the Türkiye Alumni Association honored Bangladeshi academician, prominent scientist, and Türkiye graduate Associate Professor Dr. A. F. M. Shahen Shah with the “Türkiye Alumni Science and Academia Award.” This achievement is not only a personal honor but also a unique matter of pride for Bangladesh, further enhancing the country’s image on the global stage.
