Bangladesh Shines at Nişantaşı University’s İnternational Day Celebration 2025!
The vibrant spirit of Bangladesh lit up the stage at the İnternational Day Celebration 2025, hosted by Nişantaşı University in Istanbul on 30 May, 2025. Students from over 30 countries came together to share their unique cultures and Bangladeshi students made sure our country stood out with pride.
Representing the wider Bangladeshi student community across Turkey, participants from Nişantaşı University and other universities, brought together the colors, flavors, and soul of Bangladesh in one of the most eye-catching and engaging booths at the event.
Bangladesh Cultural Booth was a true crowd-puller decorated with beautiful traditional items and serving up mouthwatering delicacies like Samusa, Pakora, Biryani, CholaBhuna and of course Bangladeshi signature sweets giving visitors an authentic taste of our heritage. The scent of spices, the flavors of the foods, the stories behind the souvenirs, and the ever-welcoming smiles created a warm, festive atmosphere.
The Henna Art (Mehendi design) corner, which became a favorite among attendees, drawing long lines of eager guests wanting to experience a touch of Bangladeshi tradition firsthand.
From local and international students to faculty members and guests from outside the university, hundreds were drawn toward the Bangladesh Cultural booth, enjoying the food, the art, and the hospitality that Bangladesh is so loved for.
A lively cultural performance by Bangladeshi students, filled with music, movement, and cultural pride that had the whole crowd cheering! It was more than a performance—it was a moment of connection, joy, and cultural magic.
A big round of applause to the dedicated Bangladeshi students who made this celebration so special. Once again, Bangladesh didn’t just participate, we made an impact.
