The spirit of Bangladesh made a vibrant and unforgettable mark at International Culture Day, On May 5, 2026, hosted by Istanbul Commerce University. In a grand celebration that brought together students from 40 different nations to honor global diversity, the Bangladeshi stall stood out as a true highlight of the event. The event was further distinguished by the presence of the Honourable Rector, Prof. Dr. Necip Şimşek, and Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Hanifi Parlar, who visited the stall to exchange warm greetings with the students. Their visit highlighted the university’s support for international diversity and added a layer of prestige to our cultural showcase.
Beautifully adorned with traditional souvenirs and intricate cultural elements, the stall served as a vivid window into the nation’s rich heritage. However, it was the authentic and delicious Bangladeshi cuisine that truly captured the hearts and palates of the university community, attracting a constant stream of students, faculty, and distinguished guests.
