The rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh made a resounding impact at Ibn Haldun University’s International Day 2026, held under the inspiring theme, “One world, one day, come and share.” Among 30 participating nations, the Bangladesh pavilion emerged as a festival centerpiece, offering local and international attendees an authentic taste of home. While the traditional artifacts and historical narratives sparked great curiosity, it was the comforting flavors of fresh Fuchka, Samosas, and Golap Jamun paired with unparalleled hospitality that made it the most popular stop of the day.
The excitement reached new heights during the vibrant cultural show, which drew a massive crowd and even caught the attention of global star Maher Zain, whose presence added an unforgettable spark to the celebration. More than just a showcase, the event served as a proud celebration of unity for the Bangladeshi student community in Istanbul. This brilliant representation was made possible by the dedication of Rimon Ahmed, Farzana Faiza, Golam Azom, Samir Ishrak, Mahmudur Rahman and others whose hard work ensured Bangladesh left a lasting impression on everyone.
